1942 French India (Établissements Français dans l'Inde) – Free French Airmail Set (Mint Never Hinged)

complete set of seven French India (Établissements Français dans l'Inde) Free French Airmail stamps, issued during the Free French (France Libre) period in the 1940s. The design features a Douglas DC-3 type aircraft flying over stylized waves with the Cross of Lorraine, the symbol of the Free French Forces during World War II. The set consists of the denominations 1R, 2R, 4 Francs, 5R, 8R, and 10R, all with bright original colors, intact perforations, and what appears to be original undisturbed gum (Mint Never Hinged) on the reverse. French India wartime airmail issues are sought after by collectors because of their historical significance and comparatively limited print quantities.
