1958 Portuguese Colonial issues commemorating the Brussels World's Fair (Exposition Universelle de Bruxelles 1958 or Expo '58)
The stamps depict the Atomium-inspired Expo emblem, atomic orbit symbols, globes and Portuguese national symbols, celebrating scientific and cultural progress showcased at the World's Fair. Portuguese India, Mozambique, Timor and Macau were issued with one design type, while Angola, Cape Verde, Portuguese Guinea and São Tomé & Príncipe were issued with another complementary design. All eight stamps were printed by the Portuguese State Printing Office and form a popular thematic collection among Expo, science and Portuguese Colonial philately collectors.
