2007 First war of independence Proof Set

The 150 Years of the First War of Independence Proof Set (1857–2007) was issued by the Government of India to commemorate the sesquicentennial anniversary of the Revolt of 1857, regarded as India's First War of Independence. The prestigious proof set, minted by the Mumbai Mint, contains a ₹100 silver-alloy proof coin and a ₹5 proof coin, both struck with mirror-finish surfaces and exceptional detail.
