The 1975 Equality, Development & Peace Proof Set with Original Box is one of India's most sought-after commemorative proof sets, issued by the Bombay Mint on 15 August 1975 to mark the themes of Equality, Development and Peace and commemorate International Women's Year 1975. The set consists of 10 proof coins ranging from 1 Paisa to ₹50, including the large-format ₹50 and ₹10 commemorative coins featuring the portrait of a woman with the legend “Equality Development Peace.” Only about 2,370 proof sets were sold through the mint, making it significantly scarcer than the 1974 proof set. When preserved with its original presentation box and certificate, the set commands strong collector interest.
