Germany (Third Reich) – 1937 Adolf Hitler "Kulturspende" Souvenir Sheet (Michel Block 9 / Scott B104)
Original German Third Reich miniature (souvenir) sheet issued on 10 June 1937 to raise funds for the Cultural Promotion Fund (Kulturspende). The sheet contains four 6 Pfennig green Adolf Hitler definitive stamps arranged in a 2×2 format, with the side inscriptions "25 Rpf einschließlich Kulturspende" ("25 Reichspfennig including cultural donation") and the slogan "Wer ein Volk retten will kann nur heroisch denken". This is catalogued as Michel Block 9 (Scott B104) and was designed by Prof. Richard Klein.
Condition Assessment
- Mint Never Hinged (MNH) with original gum.
- Complete souvenir sheet with all four stamps intact.
- Good perforations and fresh colour.
- Central vertical fold as originally stored.
- Minor age toning/foxing is visible but does not significantly detract from the appearance.
- No missing perforations.
