British One Penny coins (“Pennies”)(2 COIN SET)

These are British One Penny coins (“Pennies”) featuring the seated Britannia reverse design. The left coin appears to be a 1907 British Penny from the reign of King Edward VII, while the right coin is a 1944 British Penny from King George VI’s era during World War II. Both coins are made of bronze; the standard British penny of this period weighs about 9.45 grams and measures 30.8 mm in diameter. The Britannia design with trident and shield is one of the most iconic British coin reverses.
