These coins are modern United Kingdom decimal-era Five Pence (5p) coins featuring Queen Elizabeth II, with one coin clearly dated 1982. They are most likely the larger pre-1990 British 5 pence type struck for circulation and composed of copper-nickel. Each coin weighs approximately 5.65 grams, has a diameter of about 23.5 mm, and features a milled edge. The obverse displays the portrait of Queen Elizabeth II with the royal legend around the rim, while the reverse (not shown) normally carries a crowned thistle design with the denomination “5”.
