The English £1 Note (1987, Uncirculated)

The English £1 Note (1987, Uncirculated) is a historic banknote issued by the Bank of England during the final years of £1 note circulation before the denomination was fully replaced by the £1 coin. The note features a portrait of Queen Elizabeth II on the front and Isaac Newton on the reverse. Although the Bank of England ceased printing £1 notes in 1984 and withdrew them from circulation in 1988, uncirculated examples remain popular with collectors.
