The reverse displays ONE RUPEE within a laurel wreath, EAST INDIA COMPANY around the wreath and the date 1840 below. The 28-berry, W.W.-raised variety is catalogued by NGC as KM#458.2 for the Calcutta issue, with a weight of 11.66 g, silver fineness .917, and approximately 30 mm diameter.
