Victoria is a classic silver coin of British India issued
shortly after the transfer of power from the East India Company to the British
Crown. Struck at the Madras Mint, the coin features
the young crowned bust of Queen Victoria on the obverse
with the legend “VICTORIA
QUEEN,” while the reverse bears the denomination “ONE RUPEE”
