10 Rupees Bank Note of King George VI, 1938, Signed by J. B. Taylor (G Prefix), PMG 64 Choice Uncirculated EPQ

(0 review)
The Ten Rupees bank note of King George VI, issued in 1938 and signed by J. B. Taylor, is one of the most desirable denominations of British Indian paper currency. This specimen bears the G Prefix with serial number G58 264196 and is catalogued as KJ & RR #4.5.1. The note features the portrait of King George VI on the obverse, complemented by intricate security engraving, ornate design elements, and multilingual denomination panels characteristic of the period. Preserved with exceptional paper quality (EPQ), the note also retains the original staple holes at issue, a common feature resulting from RBI distribution practices. Professionally graded by PMG as 64 Choice Uncirculated EPQ, it exhibits outstanding originality, crisp paper, strong embossing, vibrant colours, and superior eye appeal. Owing to its high grade, excellent state of preservation, and scarcity in such condition, this 1938 J. B. Taylor Ten Rupees note is regarded as a very rare and highly sought-after collectible among enthusiasts of British Indian paper money.
