A scarce and attractive 1926 British India George V three-coin bronze set, comprising 1/4 Anna Bombay Mint with Dot, 1/2 Pice Calcutta Mint with No Mint Mark, and 1/12 Anna Calcutta Mint with No Dot. The coins are catalogued as F. Pridmore 679, 759 and 840; GK 1183, 1212 and 1240. Offered in Uncirculated to Brilliant Uncirculated condition, the set displays pleasing original bronze toning and strong design detail. The 1926 Calcutta 1/12 Anna (Pridmore 840) is an especially interesting component because of its substantially lower recorded mintage compared with the Bombay issue.
