George V, Silver, 2 Annas, 1915, Bombay Mint, Dot, Ghost on Rev, Die doubling of alphabet's on Obv, Die crack on Rev. GK 1115. Almost Uncirculated. Very Scarce.
The 1915 George V Silver 2 Annas, struck at the Bombay Mint (Dot variety), is a very scarce and highly collectible issue from the British India coinage series. Catalogued as GK 1115, this silver coin features the crowned portrait of King George V on the obverse and the denomination within an ornate floral design on the reverse. This specimen is a notable variety example, showing die doubling on the obverse lettering, a ghosting effect on the reverse, and a visible die crack on the reverse, all of which add strong specialist interest. Graded as Almost Uncirculated (AU), the coin retains sharp details, attractive original surfaces, and partial mint luster with only light traces of circulation. Very scarce in this condition and with multiple die varieties, it is an excellent addition to collections of British India coinage, George V silver issues, and advanced error or variety-focused numismatic sets.
