1982 Portuguese 2.5 Escudos

1982 Portuguese 2 Escudos coin from Portugal. The obverse shows the Portuguese shield with “2$50” (2.5 escudos), while the reverse features a traditional Portuguese sailing ship with the inscription “República Portuguesa 1982.” These coins were usually struck in copper-nickel, giving them a silver-like appearance and cool metallic feel, but they are not actual silver bullion coins. Diameter is about 18–19 mm, weight around 3–4 grams, and the edge is smooth.
