Belgium 10 Centimes coin 1862

This is a Belgium 10 Centimes coin from 1862 issued during the reign of Leopold I of Belgium. The reverse features the Belgian lion with the national motto “L’UNION FAIT LA FORCE” (“Unity Makes Strength”), while the obverse shows the denomination “10 CENTIMES” with the inscription “LEOPOLD PREMIER ROI DES BELGES.” The coin was struck in copper-nickel and is part of the early decimal coinage of Belgium.
