British and Australian sixpence issues from the early–mid 20th century (4 Coin Set)
The first coin on the left appears to be a Sixpence from the United Kingdom, 1899 Victorian era. It features the crowned “SIX PENCE” reverse design. Older British sixpence coins before 1920 were struck in sterling silver (92.5% silver), weighing approximately 2.83 grams with a diameter of about 19 mm. The second coin a 1910 British sixpence from the reign of Edward VII. Coins from this period are sterling silver and are moderately collectible.The third coin is a 1922 Sixpence from Australia. The reverse shows the Australian coat of arms with “SIXPENCE.” These coins were struck in 92.5% silver and weigh about 2.83 grams.
