A scarce and attractive collection of four George VI Copper-Nickel 2 Annas coins comprising the 1939 Bombay Mint (Head Type I, dots by year), 1941 Calcutta Mint (Head Type II, no dots by year), 1941 Calcutta Mint (Head Type II, no dots by year), and 1947 Bombay Mint (Head Type II, dots by year) issues. The 1939 and 1947 Bombay Mint coins feature large dots by the year, while a tiny diamond-shaped mint/security mark appears on either the obverse or reverse of all coins except the 1941 Calcutta issue. Catalogued as GK 1348, 1355, 1357 & 1375, this well-matched group is preserved in Uncirculated to Brilliant Uncirculated condition, displaying sharp strikes, original mint lustre, and outstanding eye appeal.
