Aurangzeb, Silver Rupee, 11.38g, Alamgirpur Mint, AH 1096 / Regnal Year 20 (KM #300.10) is a remarkable silver issue of the Mughal Empire struck during the reign of Emperor Aurangzeb Alamgir (AD 1658–1707). Minted at Alamgirpur in AH 1096 (Regnal Year 20), the coin bears finely executed Persian inscriptions, with the complete mint name clearly visible at the bottom of the reverse, an important attribute for this variety. Weighing 11.38 grams, it conforms to the standard Mughal silver rupee and reflects the exceptional minting quality of Aurangzeb's reign. An Uncirculated (UNC) coin in features, it exhibits full mint lustre, a sharp strike, crisp legends, and minimal signs of handling, making it a highly desirable specimen for collectors of Mughal coinage.
