George V, Silver 2 Annas, 1915, Bombay Mint (Prid 574). Graded by NGC MS63.

George V Silver 2 Annas, 1915, Bombay Mint (Prid 574) is a British India circulation coin struck in .917 fine silver as part of the pre-decimal fractional currency system used across the Indian subcontinent. The obverse features the crowned and laureate bust of King George V with imperial inscriptions, while the reverse displays the denomination “Two Annas” along with the date of issue and the Bombay mint mark within a decorative wreath. Issued during the First World War period, this denomination was widely used in everyday transactions, forming an important intermediate value between the anna and rupee. The specimen graded NGC MS63 indicates a high-quality uncirculated coin with strong mint luster, sharp details, and only minor contact marks, making it an attractive example for collectors of British India silver fractional issues.
