The 1841 Victoria Queen Silver 2 Annas, struck at the Calcutta Mint (DL issue), is a very scarce and highly desirable early British India silver coin. Catalogued as GK 216, this variety features the early portrait of Queen Victoria on the obverse and a finely detailed wreath design on the reverse. The coin is distinguished by the “W.W. raised” variety and the wreath configuration with 9 berries (5 left and 4 right), important diagnostic features for specialist collectors. Struck during the early Victorian period, it represents an important fractional denomination in the evolving silver currency system of British India. Offered in Uncirculated condition with attractive natural toning, the coin retains sharp design details, strong originality, and excellent eye appeal. Very scarce in this preservation, it is a prized addition to collections of British India coinage, Victoria Queen series, and early silver fractional issues.
